Cancer Institute (UPCI) In Vivo Imaging Facility (IVIF) – Preclinical MRI

The UPCI In Vivo Imaging Facility (IVIF) preclinical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) facility provides comprehensive, economical, and state-of-the-art MRI services that enable real-time in vivo analyses of physiological, cellular, and molecular processes as well as in vivo analyses of responses to medical interventions. The UPCI IVIF houses a 7T Bruker ClinScan small animal clinical magnet, which has the same clinical operating system as that installed on the human 3T and 7T magnets housed at the University of Pittsburgh Magnetic Resonance Research Center (MRRC).
